TYS heads off to TCS for their first meet of the season!

Our first meet was a huge success on a beautiful day. Selma's bronze medal finish in the Senior Girls event was exciting, but even more inspiring was the way in which our athletes supported each other. A special shout-out goes to Poppy who has not only brought her running a long way since last year's season, but has also stepped up into a leadership role, helping the novices warm up and get psyched for their race. Our first-years showed their gratitude by cheering extra-loud for her during her run, even running with Poppy - stride for stride - during the last half kilometer! Real proof of how we get what we give. Thanks everyone!
