University Counselling

The York School has a dedicated University Counselling team to support academic course selection and provide comprehensive, individualised university counselling and placement. Throughout the university admissions process, the chief concern of our counsellors is giving each student and family the advice and the guidance they may need to take full advantage of the opportunities and support The York School offers.

Naviance Family Connection
Naviance Family Connection is an application used to guide and monitor a student’s Senior School academic plan. Naviance is used to help prepare each student for post-secondary education and beyond. It includes SAT/ACT test preparation tools, scholarship search tools, post-secondary search tools, resume building information and much more.

It is available to our Grade 6 to 12 students and is accessible online. During the school year, parents can sign in at any time to view the information.
