Over two days, students will walk across Toronto’s waterfront from the Rouge River to the Humber River, using the city itself as their classroom. Along the way, they will investigate changing land use, urban development, neighbourhood change, environmental systems, and the many ways the landscape reflects the city’s past and present. The accomplishment of their city-traverse will be celebrated with a special evening program on the second evening.
