Cast of The York School Play, Matilda
TYS hosts HTS
A nail-biter vs. Holy Trinity, but we came up short. We had our best offensive game of the season scoring 23 points, featuring some great lay-ups and jumpers from Quinn R, who unfortunately exited the game early with a finger injury. All of our players ran our Cheez-It play multiple times for a few baskets (including a swish for Avery B!), which was awesome. On defence we saw our usual high energy team, creating a lot of turnovers and making coach happy by hustling back on fast breaks to stop the ball to prevent easy lay-ups. Next up on the docket are playoffs on Thursday, Nov 5 - stay tuned for updates on location and opponents. Let's go Storm!
One last shoutout to Holly, Aarya, Arya, Albane, and Natalie for running an improvised sideline inbound play for a buzzer beater bucket at the very end of the game!! Executed to perfection!!
