Key Dates

Birth year: 2015
December 1, 2026: Deadline to submit an application
November 7 or December 5, 2026: Grade 7 Admission Test at York
January 25, 2027: Taste of York (Grade 7 & 9)
February 26, 2027: Common Offer Day
March 2, 2027: Deadline to accept admission offer

Applications received after December 1, 2026 will be considered on a rolling basis after March 2, 2027, based on available space.

Admission Steps

  • Application Form: Complete the online application. Content is saved automatically, so you may leave and return to it any time. A confirmation page will appear once you’ve submitted the application and have paid the application fee. You will also receive an email confirming that we have received your application. Once we have processed your application (within two business days) you will be assigned an Applicant Checklist and will be able to proceed to the next steps.

  • Upload Age Verification (passport or birth certificate) as part of the online application.

  • Upload Psychoeducational Assessment and IEP/SLP (if applicable) as part of the online application.

  • Upload the following required documents into your Applicant Checklist:
    • 2024-2025 Final Report Card
    • 2025-2026 Final Report Card
    • 2026-2027 Interim Fall Progress Report Card
    • 2026-2027 Interim Winter Report Card

  • Self-schedule a 1:1 Interview through a link in the Applicant Checklist.

  • Register for the Academic Assessment through a link in the Applicant Checklist.

  • Register for Taste of York (Grade 7 & 9) through a link in the Applicant Checklist.

  • Submit a request for a Teacher Reference Form to be completed by your child’s teacher through the Applicant Checklist.

  • If applicable, upload English Language Proficiency (English Language Learners only). We accept TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo.
