Deadlines and Requirements

The application deadline of December 1, 2023 has now passed. We do accept late applications, however late applicants will only be considered if additional spaces become available.

The admission process is described below for each grade level for the 2024-2025 school year. Thank you for your interest in The York School!

February 28, 2024: Deadline to accept admission offer

- Submit request for a Preschool/Nursery School/Daycare Reference Form

About the York School

The York School is a gender-inclusive JK to Grade 12 independent school located in the heart of Toronto. The York School was founded in 1965 and is the first English speaking school in Canada accredited to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) from junior kindergarten (JK) to university entrance.
