The Manager, Admission reports to the Director of Admission and Advancement and is responsible for executing strategic directions established by the Director in order to meet annual enrolment targets The Manager, Admissions is expected to take the lead on implementing strategies related to JK-11 recruitment, admission, new student communications & engagement.
The Manager, Admission will work with Director, Admission & Advancement to identify mission appropriate families who will advance the mission of the school. Additionally, the incumbent will collaborate with Advancement and the Director of Citizenship to coordinate The York School’s Student Ambassador Programme to support new student transitions, while helping improve student and parent engagement. The role requires the candidate to be mobile as the Manager is responsible for helping extend the recruitment outreach to select areas across the GTA. With a keen understanding of the market, the Manager, Admission will review KPIs, Industry trends and provide insights to the Director, Admission and Advancement when developing Admission & Advancement strategy. At the end of each cycle, the Manager, Admission assesses results and identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends strategies to increase outreach and improve the quality of the process and student/parent experience.
