Knights Caught in the Storm

01/28/2026

The TYS Junior Varsity Basketball team welcomed the Royal St. George College Knights to their castle gates on Wednesday, ready to defend their court. The Knights charged out of the gate early with a narrow yet steady lead throughout the first half. Nevertheless, the TYS Storm held their ground with disciplined formation and unwavering resolve.

The tide turned decisively in the third quarter when archers Ollie "Longbow" W. and Robert "Crossbow" B. each unleashed two perfectly aimed three-pointers from beyond the arc, piercing through the Knights' defensive armor and shifting momentum firmly into TYS hands. The battle remained fierce, with both sides trading blows in a medieval clash of wills.

Leading the charge was Liam "Excalibur" D., who extracted 22 points, while Robert "Anvil" B. hammered 15 points into the conquest. Instead of a lone falcon, the entire TYS cast earned Player of the Game honours for their collective dedication and teamwork. Coach Ben and Mr. Corsano noted how well every Storm player fulfilled their role.

The final score of 63-50 returned the Knights honourably to their kingdom, while the Storm soared to celebrate a triumphant home win.
