In a thrilling second-round playoff match, our JV girls volleyball team battled hard against the undefeated Villanova squad. We came out strong, taking the first set with confidence and composure. Villanova responded with intensity, but we refused to back down, pushing every rally and making them earn every point.
After dropping the second and third sets, we dug deep in the fourth, fighting to extend the match. With relentless energy and determination, we came within reach, but ultimately, Villanova closed it out in a narrow finish. Though the match didn’t go our way, our team played with heart, resilience, and skill, proving we could compete with the best. A fantastic effort from everyone—this was a battle to be proud of!
