The girls battled fiercely against Greenwood, the undefeated frontrunner of our league this season. After a challenging start in the first two sets, we rallied together to take the third and fourth sets, showcasing resilience and determination. The momentum carried us into a nail-biting fifth set, where we battled point for point but ultimately came up just short.
Special shoutout to Kate, who was a defensive powerhouse diving all over the court and delivering crucial digs. Ella also stood out with her powerful serves and spikes, keeping the team energized and competitive. Despite the loss, the team proved they could compete with the best and should be proud of their effort and teamwork.
