The TYS Storm JV Basketball team proved to be a lightning force in the CISAA Championship Playoffs. The tempest began at SMCS with the Storm thundering past Hillfield Strathallan College 60-53 in the semi-finals. Liam "Gigawatt" D. electrified the court, striking repeatedly at the net to storm the team into the Finals.
The TYS team brought their very best to the championship match against St. Michael's College School even though SMCS weathered the Storm to ultimately prevail with an 82-63 win. Still, the Storm never broke as every TYS player contributed to an impressive performance, never relenting throughout the match.
Coach Ben and Mr. Corsano are exceptionally proud of this team in the way they transformed throughout the season into a unified Storm system. The growth, maturity, and heart displayed by these athletes demonstrated their resilience.
