The TYS Storm rolled out of the winter cold and into Port Hope to find Trinity College School's gymnasium as freezing as a refrigerator. Warming up in the first quarter, the TYS JV Basketball team wasted no time in thawing out some fresh produce to get the game cooking.
Player of the Game, Robert "La Cornue" B., set the temperature early, preheating the offence with leadership and 14 points. He modelled a performance as the perfect recipe for success, mixing team-building ingredients with clutch baskets bringing the entire squad to a rolling boil.
Ollie "Air Fryer" W. targeted infrared heat on a half-dozen, three-point yams into the basket and set to broil for a sizzling 22 points.
By the final buzzer, TYS served up a four course chef's menu earning them a Michelin-ranked 69-52 win along with top-rated reviews from food critic Mr. Corsano and gastronome Coach Ben.
