Opening Night Synchronicity - 12/01/2025
The York School Junior Varsity Basketball team struck all the right chords in their season opener, leading wire-to-wire in a 59-51 home victory over Villanova College.
Koorosh "Virtuoso" F. led the scoring with 20 points, while Liam “Conductor” D. harmonized perfectly with 18 points. Josh G-S. contributed 7 points as the team played in sync from start to finish.
TYS established their tempo early and never looked back, maintaining control throughout all four quarters. Villanova made several attempts to disrupt the rhythm, but the home team's disciplined defense and presto ball movement kept them at bay.
What most impressed the coaching staff was the seamless chemistry displayed in this debut performance. Every player understood their role, moving the ball unselfishly and supporting one another on both ends of the court. GO STORM!
