The TYS Junior Varsity Basketball team embarked on a successful voyage against Villanova College, navigating smoothly from tip-off to final buzzer in a commanding 47-32 home victory. Like seasoned explorers charting a course to their destination, the Storm soared through all four quarters, never allowing their opponents to interrupt the itinerary towards the playoffs.
Captain of the expedition Liam "Fodor's" D. embarked on an impressive 23-point game, while Koorosh "Frommer's" F. discovered 13 points of his own along the journey.
This marked the second encounter between these two teams this season, and TYS demonstrated they had their plays mapped out well. The entire fleet moved in synchronized formation, finding their rhythm and earning the ultimate prize: a stamped passport to the CISAA Championship Finals.
The Storm will now set their compass toward St. Michael's College School on Wednesday, February 25th, where they'll compete for the championship trophy. Coach Ben and Mr. Corsano commend the team's unity and determination in securing this crucial playoff berth.
