Marsha Skrypuch - Author Visit for Grades 4 and 5

Location: Junior School Library
11.30 AM - 12.15 PM Chat in the Library with G4 and G5 students [80 students in total] "The majority of Marsha’s books are for this age group. 45 to 60 minutes. Includes how she transformed herself from a non-reader into a writer, how she does research, historical background on the books of your choice. Writing tips and Q&A are worked in."

12.15 - 1PM Lunch

1 - 2.15PM Writer's workshop with one G5 class of 20 students in their classroom
Either topic - Teaching fun self-editing techniques to students in grades 4 to 12 OR Techniques for punching through writer’s block

2.45 - 3.45PM Writer's workshop with the second G5 class of 20 students in their classroom. Same topic as previous workshop.
