On Tuesday February 25th, the U13 volleyball team made an early morning trip up to Aurora to play in the CISAA Final 4 event. 

Our first game was against CDS, a team we lost to in the regular season, but also a team we knew we were well match with in skill and determination to win. The teams energy was the best we have ever seen all season, they started off strong and kept that momentum going no matter what happened after each point. After 2 close sets, we unfortunately couldn't secure the win and had to move in to the bronze medal match. 

Our second game was against HTS, and with a loss in the first round, we knew we had to pick it up and play our best! I told the team, we don't ever want to leave a gym wishing we played better, we always walk into every game with the goal of doing our best! With that determination, the team managed to win a 3 set match against HTS and secure the bronze medal! 

This season has been incredible, with only 2 loses to the 2 teams that ended up in the CISAA finals. The teams dedication to practices, games & personal development was outstanding.
