This is an ending piece for our Unit 1 and a jumping off point for unit 2. We will visit the grave site of William Lyon Mackenzie and reflect on the Rebellions. We will then use the cemetery as a point of data collection. Students will travel around the cemetery collecting demographic information (name, gender, age, possible cause of death, religion, etc). When we return to class, we will do further investigation and try to come to some conclusions about demographic factors of the 1850s and use them as a comparison to today.
