4th Annual Student Art Battle featuring Guest Graffiti Artist

The York School hosted its 4th Annual Art Battle for Middle and Senior students this week. Students gathered in the coliseum joined by special guest Uber5000, a local graffiti artist and icon whose work can be seen from graffiti alley to the storefronts of Bloor Street and Dundas Street West. Uber5000 battled it out to create 10 minute drawings against our talented York School including: 

Grade 6 - Ella Mathison and Avery Moorhead
Grade 7 - Colm O'Brien O'Leary
Grade 8 - Elisabeth Nickel
Grade 9 - Chloe Kim
Grade 10 - Anzhelika Libkind
Grade 11 - Maddie Rozells
Grade 12 - Joy Patterson

Congratulations to student choice winner, Anzhelika Libkind in Grade 10 and to Elisabeth Nickel in Grade 8 and Maddie Rozells in Grade 11 for their second place tie! 

It was an epic battle and producing some amazing work by York students.
