Our rich co-curricular opportunities help balance the rigorous academic programme by providing students with connections to the community, broadened social networks and exposure to varied experiences. Students are able to find their passions, learn to communicate effectively with their peers and embrace the opportunity to be their best selves. This self-discovery is especially pertinent during the Senior School years as students begin to plan ahead to university applications with an understanding that following their passions and developing a unique skill set will make them stronger candidates and set them apart from the crowd.
The Senior School Co-Curricular programme develops our students’ individuality and strengthens their connection to the vibrant York School community. The York School also offers a diverse and constantly evolving list of clubs to nurture student interests and build strong interpersonal skills. Some of the clubs and co-curriculars offered to Senior School students in the past include:
- York TV
- Debating
- Open Studio art club
- Programmer’s club
- Senior School musical/play
- Improvisation club
- Guitar ensemble
