Student Leadership

Senior School students take pride in helping shape the school community to which they belong.

Students are given many opportunities to take part in decision making, event planning, spirit raising, and helping others within the school.
We value how students demonstrate and develop leadership skills. There are a wide range of formal student leadership positions, such as Prefects, Homeroom Representatives, Mentors, Athletic Captains and Peer-Tutors.

In order to prepare for these roles, students in Grade 10 are encouraged to engage in leadership workshops throughout the year. But even before this, the ICE programme at Grade 9 encourages students to show leadership in diverse learning situations outside the classroom. By graduation, Senior School students are ready to step onto the world stage as leading citizens.
