Welcome to the Senior School. At the Senior School, you will find a community of engaged learners who embrace new challenges, dig deep, and emerge as confident citizens of the world. Each of our classrooms is a mere starting point for the exploration of a rich and relevant curriculum. On any day, you will find students anywhere from a university lab studying chemical weapons to a First Nations reserve meeting with the tribal council. From sea to sea and hemisphere to hemisphere, our students find the answers to the questions that really matter to them.
Buttressed by a long tradition of experiential learning and the IB curriculum, our teachers work together to foster learning experiences that prompt students to think critically and creatively, and that develop the skills needed to solve real-world problems and to express their solutions to a sophisticated global audience.
When you walk through the front doors, you will quickly sense the many benefits of being part of a small school community. Whether it is being part of one of our four houses, having an older student mentor and counsellor that will advise you, or a teacher who will guide you one-on-one through your Personal Project and Extended Essay, students find that compassion becomes an absolute given.
I invite you to come spend time with us and witness education at its best.
Sincerely,
David Hamilton
Senior School Principal
