Hey York!

Even though going to school might not be everyone's cup of tea, there are definitely some cool things about York that ought to make your day a little better.

For sports lovers, our amazing gym is definitely one you have never seen before. With a “Coliseum” theme, we have a floating track above the gym and a fitness centre that is definitely worth going to. Even though our turf may be small, it is definitely a fan favourite spot, especially in the spring.

For those who love food or just the idea of lunch, our cafeteria is probably the highlight of the day. From our amazingly comfortable multicoloured booths to our tables, eating lunch with some friends is definitely one of the best parts of the day. Not to mention our in-house Freshii station and Aramark kitchen that keeps serving us amazing food. On top of that, you can purchase snacks and drinks and everyone's favorite - pizza!

If you are exhausted after a long day and just want to do some work, our amazingly new and soon-to-be wellness centre and comfy library is the place to be. Or even if you are waiting for your parents to pick you up, those comfy chairs are, and I quote, “heavenly.”

If these things still don’t seem cool enough, wait until you see the school. With the amazing glass street views and classrooms, along with weirdly shaped but practical lockers, The York School looks amazing inside and out.

On top of that we have amazing gender-neutral bathrooms on the first and second floors to make everyone feel more welcome and safe at school.

There are definitely many cool things about York that make coming here every day a little more amazing and fun!
