Meet Mary

After obtained a BA from Queen's University and a Diploma in Child Studies, Mary continued her travels, living and teaching at schools in Switzerland, Germany, Singapore, Thailand and the U.S. Now settled in Toronto, Mary is a Grade 1 teacher and a Mindfulness Leader at the Junior School.



Mary’s travel adventures began when she was in high school and spent her first summer at school in France. Years later, while she was attending Queen’s University, she returned to France for her third year of school. After completing her B.A., Mary obtained a Diploma in Child Studies and continued her travels, living and teaching at schools in Switzerland, Germany, Singapore, Thailand and the U.S.

Now settled in Toronto, Mary is a Grade 1 teacher and a Mindfulness Leader at the Junior School. She and her husband (who also works at The York School) speak both English and Swedish at home with their children.
