This activity is part of the Grade 5 How We Express Ourselves inquiry. This day activity looks at various forms of expression through hip hop.

Key Inquiry Question: How can the elements of hip hop be a tool for self expression?

Students will explore the roots of hip hop as well as the contemporary impact of hip hop culture. Students will explore how hip hop can be used as a tool for self-expression
