Grade 1 McMichael Trip

Location: McMichael Canadian Art Collection
The Grade 1 students will be visiting the McMichael Canadian Art Collection as part of the Visual Arts component of the Unit of Inquiry, “How We Express Ourselves”. This trip will allow students to participate in a workshop titled Haida Manga Studio. In the workshop, students will view the artwork of Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas and create their own mixed-media piece. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in a gallery tour which will highlight the art of Canada and The Group of Seven. Please click here for Venturing Out Form.
