Meet Chris
Chris's work history begins on a dairy farm in Ontario where he grew up – but it certainly doesn't end there. After travelling the world and teaching overseas, Chris is now a passionate English & Humanities teacher as well as a dedicated cross country and track & field coach.
Chris's work history begins on a dairy farm in Ontario where he grew up working – but it certainly doesn't end there. After completing a B.A. in Criminology & Criminal Justice; a Bachelor of Education; and a Masters of Arts, Education, Chris moved overseas where he spent three years teaching in Bogata, Columbia, followed by another three years in
Daegu, South Korea.
Now, a Middle School English and Humanities teacher at The York School, Chris continues to fuel his love for travel. He's spent time in Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, France, India, the Dominican Republic and the U.S.
When he's home in Toronto, Chris stays on the move as a lover of running and cycling. He bring this passion to the York School as a dedicated coach for the Middle School Cross Country team and the Senior School Track & Field team.
