Popular Science Lecture

The next Keenan Popular Science Lecture series is happening on Thursday February 14th, 2018. Dr. Kim Connelly will be speaking on “Quantum Physics and The HEART – How These Come Together To Help Diagnose Heart Disease” During this presentation, we will review the epidemic of heart failure; understand the basic physics of MRI and see some cool images and learn how this helps in diagnosing heart disease.The lecture will begin at 12:00pm to 1:00pm in the Allan Waters Family Auditorium in the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute building (209 Victoria Street). Lunch will be provided (PIZZA). You will have to leave class at 11:30 and return by 2:30 pm.
