| Student Life | A balanced, rich and rewarding student life is at the core of the Middle School experience. |
The Middle School Life progrramme includes assemblies, clubs, outdoor education, service learning and a challenge week experience in May. The York School's motto is 'Be Yourself. Be Great.' Our students' individuality, interests, compassion, civic awareness, and development as citizens of the world are nurtured throughout the many activities students take part in at our school.
Our weekly assemblies give students an opportunity to meet as a community, hear important speakers, be informed about upcoming events, recognize achievements and the thoughts and aspirations of others, and to be inspired by their peers and the world at large.
New for the 2012-13 school year, a York Middle School Student Life Director and a Trip Coordinator oversee all experiences that extend student learning beyond the classroom.
