Our approach to learning at the Middle School is experiential, student centred and contextualized to the real world. At the Middle School, the focus is on developing learning skills to provide the foundation for academic success.
IB Middle Years Programme
We are proud to be the first school in Canada to be accredited to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12.
The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) forms the basis of the curriculum from Grades 6 to 8. Middle School is delivered through the MYP, which provides a framework to be curious about the world, to tackle issues with a critical eye, to connect to their communities through questioning, thinking creatively and critically, and collaborating effectively.
