Alumni Visits Aspiring Musician

York School Alumni, James Duncan (Class of 2012), paid a special visit to the school this week. James is currently in his final year at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts and kindly took time to sit down one-on-one with Grade 10 music student, Adam Mills. Adam will be taking a five-week summer course at Berklee this summer focusing on music technology. Together, James and Adam worked on electronic music composition and the process of songwriting. James also listened to some of Adam's music creations and provided him with some valuable comments and feedback. James also shared his experience living in Boston and attending Berklee to help prepare Adam for his course this summer.

"It was an amazing opportunity to meet him and it will be one that I will never forget." - Adam Mills, Grade 10.

Thanks to James Duncan for taking the time to share his experiences and expertise with another aspiring York School music student.
