At The York School we are constantly thinking about ways to re-think the learning environment and innovate in our classrooms.

We recently reconfigured our Senior School Film Room with node seating – ergonomic, mobile desk units that allow for a more collaborative and adaptable workspace. This new set up accommodates active learning, where students can easily move around, form groups or work individually depending on the day's lesson. The ergonomic design also provides posture support so that students are able to concentrate for longer – and with less fidgeting.
