Class Representatives
Class Reps play an important role as connector, motivator, and the voice of graduating classes. They are encouraged to initiate alumni participation in programmes and are instrumental in keeping class members in contact with the School to keep the alumni spirit and community alive.

Upcoming Events:
One of the best ways to keep in touch is to attend a York Alumni event to reconnect, rekindle old friendships, and reminisce about time spent together. The York School strives to host a variety of alumni events that suit all interests – whether you are looking to network or socialize. We are seeking volunteers to speak with our current Grade 11 and 12 students about campus life; as well as what they can look forward to once they've graduated from university. This is an opportunity for students to get to know some of our alumni to help make their transition to university a little easier. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Pearl Goodman at pgoodman@yorkschool.com. |
| | In the words of our Alumni... "My time at The York School provided critical academic fundamentals and also the opportunity for personal development. I was taught the skills needed to succeed at school.
"Beyond the school walls, I was given approaches that taught me key organizational skills and leadership abilities. As a student participating in all three IB programs, I found the York School to be a tightly-knit community of students, teachers and staff. There was always an emphasis on maintaining a balance of extra-curricular activities and academia, which enabled me to develop my potential, and left me a wealth of lasting experiences and life values."

-----------------------------
"I truly believe that York had a significant role in shaping me into the ambitious and confident person that I have become. York created an atmosphere with very little social pressure, which allowed me to be myself rather than somebody that others wanted me to be. York was a very tough school academically, but my teachers were always ready to assist me in tackling any problems or concerns that I may have had."
