MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS

As Director of Admissions at York, I can promise you and your child a unique combination of academics, music, art and athletics in Canada's only school accredited to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) at all levels.

Our students come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, but all of our families share a love of learning in an atmosphere where research, critical analysis and the development of problem-solving skills are paramount.

I am looking for capable yet interesting students who can contribute to the life of The York School in a variety of ways.  If you are interested in pursuing an independent school for your child, please arrange a meeting with me.  You should be starting your school search at least one year in advance of your child's proposed entry date.

When you visit York, I will take about two hours to show you our amazing Manhattan-style facility, explain our programme to you, and answer all of your questions.

If you are intrigued by a coeducational, non-denominational, midtown school with a wonderfully well-balanced curriculum, York is your best choice.  I look forward to meeting you and giving you a tour.
